Meet Ale

Ale has a background in ballet, performed professionally in the SF Bay Area, and has taught ballet to both kids and adults for over 10 years. She was first introduced to Pilates while recovering from a foot injury as a young dancer and has relied on the practice ever since to keep her body moving and her mind happy both during on and off seasons. She loves that Pilates can be both fun and challenging while also being safe and gentle to the body. She always feels stronger and longer after a workout!

Ale has taught Pilates for over 8 years and has worked with people of all ages, levels, and abilities. She received her Pilates certification for mat work and all apparatus through BASI Pilates. During 1-on-1 sessions, she is able to design a customized program to meet the individual's goals and needs. In group classes, she is able to provide modifications on the spot to either challenge or assist clients. Thanks to her years of ballet training and having a keen eye for body placement, she puts great emphasis on moving with proper alignment and mechanics to prevent unnecessary strain. After all, moving your body should feel good! She is very passionate about Pilates and excited to share its many benefits with everyone.

How it All Started

Pilates Paradise was created in the midst of COVID-19 when Ale and some of her girlfriends were all future brides trying to figure out how they were going get in the best shape for their wedding day. Gyms and fitness studios had been shutdown for months and would not reopen in the foreseeable future. So Ale came up with the idea of providing online Pilates workouts that anyone could do, anytime and anywhere, whether it is in the comfort of your own home or even while in paradise, hence "Pilates Paradise". As a bride herself, she knows exactly how to achieve the confident body that brides seek for their wedding day. In addition, a large portion of Ale’s clientele are tech workers in Silicon Valley, who were working even longer hours on the computer at home during lockdown and struggling to find a fitness routine. She has come up with online programs to help both clientele meet their needs.
